Dear Friend,
March marks the South Sudan Secondary School certificate exams. Our 50 seniors who finished their coursework last December came back on campus to take the days' long exam. In February, Valentino visited his second home, the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya, where he spent nine years of his life before emigrating to the United States. Also in this issue--our annual report is hot off the press and we invite our Bay Area supporters to our first guest bartending fundraiser on April 7th.
As always, thank you for your continued support. We understand you may have concerns about the conflict and food insecurity in South Sudan. We encourage you to urge your lawmakers to guarantee that humanitarian aid reaches South Sudan before the famine spreads. Please feel free to write or call at anytime for more information (415-550-8840, info@vadfoundation.org).

The VAD Annual Report is here!

Read about the positive change we've made in South Sudan as well as updates on important issues facing the young country. The report list our major donors and tells you
how your support is impacting the community in Marial Bai and changing the lives of our students.
